Closing the Gap

It’s been more than two months since my last post. Why? One, training and myself to be a diligent, disciplined, conscientious and efficient student. Two, nothing happens lately to blog about, perhaps because, of reason #1. Well, attempting to close the gap from the last post, here goes:

Milestones. 

Friends are either a wife, becoming a wife. Some have become a mommy, or about to be mommies. Congratulations! Best Wishes! And whatever sincere greeting there may be for you guys. It’s nice to know that despite the growing number of cynics, people still believe in happily ever after.

“I asked her to marry me because she’s the one.I don’t want to lose her now, nor any time in the future. I want to make her happy more than I’m doing now”, he said. “I said yes. Because I’m ready to get married. Because I’m ready to make a life of commitment with him. Because he makes me happy more than he knows. Because I want a lifetime to show him how much I appreciate him. Because I don’t want to lose him anymore. He’s my treasure, mine and mine alone”, she said.

With people with hearts like theirs, I believe in Happily Ever After’s. 

Friends are now MDs!!! I have prayed and prayed for them, and like what Jim had said, “Praise God!” that they passed the boards. And because we’re friends, perhaps, I can use that to some advantage. He he. Free Professional Fees, consultations, and the like. In the future, I can pay you back, but only in kind. Ha ha. For now, all I can give you is love and friendship… and love and friendship. Ha ha!

Unfortunately, to retain the balance in the world, saddening news came about. There are people who are leaving the country for good. They did, do, will do, it for career, family, oh and some of them just got married. Greener pastures is what they seek, and they did, do, will do find. It’s very much understandable that they are not thinking of themselves anymore, they have a family to raise. And what kind of parent would not want nothing but the best that life can offer to their kids? Parenting, a very, very heavy word. I’ll deal with that when my own time comes.

Finally, closing in the gap, it’s already September. Time for sleepless Saturday nights, time for forwarding quotes of encouragement, time for school spirit raised to the nth level, time for cramming and biting nails and palpitations. BAR MONTH!!! It’s this year that I have close friends about to take the bar. I’ve witnessed some studying sessions, panic moments and need-for-company breaks. He he. This is their Mt. Everest. The biggest challenge towards becoming what we have been struggling for the past 4 or more years. We give them as much as prayers, peace, encouragement, prayers, prayers and more prayers. We can’t be with them while taking the exams or even while preparing for it, at least we could be with them in prayers.

I have been attempting for a number of times now to post something new here. But my creative juices fail me. They’re up there somewhere, under a pile of information primarily necessary for the time being. He he. I need to dig them up sooner or later.
